Enjoyed my visit, but I made the mistake of going in the spring before the corn was growing. Second you must take your glove with you so you can join in the game. The ghost player told a lot of stories about behind the scenes...More

Had a fabulous day playing catch on the field with my now grown son. Then we toured the house with Shoeless Joe himself. A bit pricey but we had a great time reliving the movie and inserting ourselves into the site. You need to appreciate...More

It is a drive to this location but worth it for photos, run/walk the bases or play catch. Will go back during summer when the corn is high for the perfect photos. Definitely a must for baseball or fans of the movie.

I arrived in time to see a majestic sunset, and while I have seen these before, this one was heartwarming. When I returned the next day to take the tour, a group of young women was practicing on the field. Obviously no reservations are required....More

Visiting the grounds itself is free and you can go out and play/run around on the field. There is a gift shop to purchase souvenirs. My Fiance wanted to do the house tour, it was $20 a person...just like in the movie. The tour guide...More

I loved, loved, loved everything about my trip today. I was there at 9am, had the place to myself, ran the bases, sat in the bleachers, laid down on the freshly cut grass, took the house tour. Penny gave a great tour, don't miss this...More

Field of Dreams is one of my all-time favorite movies, and we couldn't pass up a chance to see this place when we were in the area. It's just like it looked in 1985 when they made the movie. We bought the house tour ($20...More

My husband has to use either a walker or his wheelchair. Is the terrain from the parking lot something you think he can manage??

Hi, We have two walkers and it was a little hard to get around some parts of the area. We just took it real slow and didn't go over to where the ground wasn't level . Enjoy your trip it's a great place to spent a little... More

My wife and our super friendly dog are traveling through the area, anyone know if we could get a picture of us with our dog on the field? I guess the better question is do they allow dogs anywhere on the property? Thanks!!

There weren't signs prohibiting dogs. There was a gentleman and his dog there while we were visiting. There wasn't staff around to take pictures, but people were friendly and took pictures for each other.

My brother and I, with our families including spouses and 8 kids, are planning to be there Aug 10 or 11 this year. Will it still be open? I heard in another review that there were plans apparently to turn the field into a mega sports complex.
