Found the Mathias Ham House to be very interesting. The tour guide was very informative and answered all my questions. The house is not "grand" compared to others I have seen but it told a story that was very important to the area.

The period people really know their history and bring it alive in their presentations. The house is in beautiful shape and the whole grounds is beautifully kept. The ice cream social is my favorite, the music and the people milling about is so much fun.

I personally loved our tour of this house. I loved the aspect online of saying it was haunted and getting a sense of curiosity out of why that idea had been concocted. Great back story. Loved the video they played, and I usually hate background...More
