The period people really know their history and bring it alive in their presentations. The house is in beautiful shape and the whole grounds is beautifully kept. The ice cream social is my favorite, the music and the people milling about is so much fun.

We really enjoyed the tour and the tour guide, Cindy, who was dressed in "period costume". This home is beautiful, speaking to the history of the Ham family, as well as the city of Dubuque. Although there was a camp going on, which prevented us...More
