Kids had fun

Kids enjoyed this attraction but it was a little pricey for a quick stop. They had the most fun with the stingrays.

Loved the history and science, here. A great place for anyone - with or without kids - to visit. So much you can learn.

We visited the Museum while on a short trip for Valentine's Day/Wedding Anniversary. Our favorite part of the museum was the aquarium, especially the displays dealing with the species prevalent to our area of the Midwest. The Paddleboat history and displays were very well done. We only had a couple of hours to visit, so my biggest tip is to... More

Affordable, family fun. The high point of the day was petting a sting ray. We spent a few hours fascinated by all they had to offer.

The facility is located in the old Dubuque Harbor where boats were constructed over the years and even for use in World War II.

Everything is approachable and hands-on. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The multiple buildings and features of the museum & aquarium are neighbors to the river itself, a beautiful river walk, a conference center, a... More

This museum is extremely interesting. It is a terrific mix of river lore, boats, fish, ecology and history. When you finish visiting the museum, you will have a great feel of what river life was like over the years.
