Make sure you stop in their cafe. The food is sourced locally and well prepared. The menu changes often depending on the food that's in season. The staff is super friendly!

Short visit due to heat/humidity of mid-July. Enjoyed the view of the city. Would like to see directional signs and plant labels.

Just before our Hectic week in Des Moines we stoped off at the gardens for some sightseeing. Glad we did because it was extremely scenic and relaxing . Even for my hyper 12 year old who found the gardens enjoyable.

Nice waterfall element in the outside gardens, which has a seat to take in the view and serene environment. Friendly staff. Nice...More
