Ran through here for the half marathon. A beautiful park. The bridge across the lake is particularly nice. A fun lake for stand-up paddling.

It's so close to traffic but by itself is a serene place where one can sit by the water, walk, run or just have a picnic as the mood is. Difficult to believe it's so close to downtown!

My friend and I ran around this lake in October. The fall colors were fantastic. I pleasantly noticed there was minimal tagging and/or litter. Most dog messes were picked up as well. It was nice to run through an area that was well cared for...More

Beautiful trail around Gray's Lake, it's hard to believe it's in Des Moines! Families out for a walk, bicyclists, joggers, everyone.

Grays Lake has a wonderful walk=around that provides both sun and shade. Lovely views into downtown Des Moines just add to the ambiance. Great healthy activity for the whole family!

This is a great park to sit and relax, go for a stroll or more rigorous exercise. Water rentals are available in season... always lots of people running, walking dogs are hanging out by the water... and there are apparently Pokemon everywhere if you are...More
