While this trail was a little challenging with the hills, it was so worth the ride. Beautiful views, and the paved trail was in good shape. I'm so glad we made the trip from Nebraska to enjoy this ride.

This is such a wonderful trail, I wish I lived closer so I could use it all the time! We rode part of the trail on bikes that we rented from the local bike shop and headed out from there. It's smooth and easy to...More

This is a challenging bike path. You can rent a bike at Decorah Bikes on Water Street. If you don't want to struggle on this trail I suggest renting one of their electric bikes. Reasonable and fun. This is such a unique and beautiful trail....More

It was my pleasure to help the locals who worked for more than 30 years get this thing going. I'm not much of a trail walker or rider but I'm very proud this facility got built here in Decorah. I see people every day enjoying...More

A sometimes challenging, mostly peaceful, alway accessible place to walk, run or ride your bike. Beautiful views, lovely scenery, and tranquil sounds of nature along the river.

Beautiful trail! However, the lady that's always on the trail annoys me a bit. Every time she sees me, she chases me down and asks if I need a map. I bet she's give me 15 plus maps over the years!

I use this trail several times a week during spring, summer and fall. It's great for walking and biking. Winter time the trail does not get cleared of snow but would be great for cross country skiing.

The Trail is a wonderfully maintained, safe place to ride your bike or run or stroll. I regularly ride solo and feel completely safe no matter what time of day I ride. Because the paved Trail is used by all kinds of people, it is...More

We caught the trail at Phelps Park. It was beautiful. It certainly made it even more gorgeous with the fall colors. Several stairs and hills. Not too strenuous.
