Stopped briefly in Decorah during a road trip and came upon Ice Cave Road which had signs for the Ice Cave and Dunnings Springs. First stop at the Ice Cave then check out the springs. Actually the springs are a beautiful waterfall. There are some...More

Beautiful Waterfall in Decorah, IA. A nice place to go on a warm day since the water offers a cool retreat. There is a narrow road which goes to the falls or you can park near the Upper Iowa River and take a short walk....More

Area has a nice waterfall and fun waking trails that can be challenging. There is also a mountain bike course here. Definitely worth a stop and could spend hours here.

We spent a rainy afternoon checking out the springs. It’s quite beautiful and worth your time to drive out there.

We had a good time at this park. The grandkids got to get their feet wet and had a hike up to the top of the cliff. No facilities, but there were picnic tables available.

Beautiful little waterfall but really is just as pretty at the bottom as hiking to the top. We only did one trail not sure if there was more. Pretty park

This was a fun, quick stop. We got to climb the water fall, including a couple of small caves. Learning that the waterfall used to have a grist mill (with photos posted) was neat too.

A peaceful location in the forest near Decorah. Beautiful waterfall, with hiking opportunities. Parking is very limited, may want to consider stopping during non peak times.

No charge, the road to the waterfall is blocked off due to some rebuilding they are doing. Just park in the lot across the highway and walk in. It is rough surface (gravel) road. Probably 3/10 of a mile to the bottom of the... More
