There is a collection of shops that are an Antique or Art Collectors dream. Walking through the area is a very relaxing enjoyable way to spend a day.

What a disappointment! 4-5 shops, most closed, 4-5 bars and a couple of restaurants. You could see it all in a matter of minutes. But if you don't visit, you won't miss much. The food was pretty good at Brew, but the staff could have...More

The river walk, historic neighborhood, plenty of pubs and restaurants, this is as much a local destination as a tourist attraction

This tiny town takes you back to a time almost forgotten with small boutique shops and small local restaurants/bars. We enjoyed a nice meal and wonder through the shops talking to locals which was also enjoyable as most were pleasant and chatty. Relaxing afternoon!

Fun to walk around. Plan to go back when it is warmer. Small shops; good place to find gifts. Parking may be an issue during warm weather.

Went on a Sunday and enjoyed visiting without the local traffic. Plenty to see and do. Would make a great day trip. Kind of like a mini Galena. I would recommend visiting!

Our first stop in the Village is always at Lagomarcino's. This family-run century-old institution has sandwiches with home made bread; home-made pies and ice cream sodas and sundaes to die for. And don't forget the home-made chocolates on your way out (also available online.) Next...More
