old palace brings joy to visit the old monuments

We had a stop at this place on our way back and it worth visiting. Everything is made from bricks and the natural color in contrast with the green gardens is just amazing.

This beautiful palace is situated about 10 kilometres from Bucharest, Romania capital. It was built by Constantin Brâncoveanu in the Romanian Renaissance style, local called Brâncovenesc style, at the turn of the centuries XVII/XVIII. Wonderful place for a walk, contemplation in the small Orthodox church near the palace or on the lake shore.

A good place to visit in every season. The park around palace is nice for romantic walks. In palace is a museum with a 5 lei ticket (aprox. 1.10€) with nice exhibits.

Had a great time at Mogosoaia Palace! Visited the museum the ticket was only 5 lei (aprox 1 euro) For a romanian is very easy to understand all the objects displayed, still I haven't seen much explanations in other languages e.g english and that might not be that good On the day that we have visited there was a concert... Situated by the lake, it is built in the "Brancovenesc" architectural style and surrounded by a large and beautiful domain. During the entire year there are cultural exhibitions and events. There is a perfect place for a picnic or just for a cup of coffee.
