We went as a family for a day trip over spring break. We all enjoyed it. Especially the videos of when they moved the museum after the 2008 floods. We also liked the tour of the immigrant house.

We take family here when visiting and always enjoy the visit. My kids age 11 and 8 get kind of bored, there are some hands on displays but a lot of reading.

Small, but very well-done. Unique in that it focuses on a specific people's history in Iowa. Nice setting near the river.

Interesting displays that are beautifully presented. The history of the Czech settlers in the city and the area are displayed in the museum and on the grounds. They have many special events, check their calendar to see what's happening.
I am originally from CR and spent my childhood in and around this area. It was so nice to remissness areas that I had spent much of my time in when I lived here. The information here at the Museum was very informative.
