We visited with it Purdue University student for a short evening walk. Nice and easy trail, about 10-15 minutes to the lake. Saw a lot of wildlife—frogs, turtles, birds, etc. Quiet park, but well-used. Trails are not paved, and a little muddy, but not bad....More

The mosquitos can get pretty bad at times due to the water but other than that, it's a nice place to enjoy a little bit of nature without driving far. There is always a good amount of joggers but it's never overly crowded.
