I love bringing the kids to the drive in. I can't wait to go this summer. It's so fun to play outside before the movie, get some snacks and just enjoy. If you are going and don't know what to expect..this isn't your typical movie....More

We were lucky to go twice this past Summer. The first was on a very busy opening night of a kids movie. We got there about 15 minutes prior to the start, the lot was packed, but surprisingly we found a spot. People show up...More

I have gone to this place my whole life. It had been a few years since I had been. I love that the owners have done a few update, but have kept the old time feel. Gone are the days of the speaker hanging on...More

We went to go see Star Trek and Suicide Squad tonight. The drive in isn't what it used to be. Their projector is dimming drastically and we couldn't see anything for the first 35 minutes, after which we let management know. When brought to their...More

You don't see too many drives in around anymore. Having one in Valpo is a great and nostalgic thing. Also a great value for the price. Definitely have to visit if you've never been or are just looking for an entertaining nigh!

I was wondering if I was able to bring my dog to the 49er Drive-in?? She's a lab and very well behaved.

I have never seen a dog there. I would recommend against it. There are a lot of people. Even though my dog was very well behaved I would have never taken him. One or two barks could really annoy those around you.
