My first chance to see flamingos in the wild. Fascinating and beautiful birds. Doesn't require a long visit, but worthwhile to stay a bit and watch the dynamics of the flocks, get to see them fly (such amazing wing-spans), etc. As usual, they're more active...More

Don't plan just for a quick stop at the flamingos. They are beautiful and can watch them for quite some time. They fly from one spot to another and can take amazing pictures. Also, interesting anemones in the water.

The flamingos were too far away to appreciate. It was more like silhouettes of them far away. We were there around 4. Maybe a different time of day?

This was extremely difficult to locate. If you are passing a bar on your right with a tree made of beer bottles turn left. Once you see the lake just pull over.

Best way is to get a taxi to take you. It's a pretty quick stop along the road, with little shade. Unless you want to do a full day or half day tour like we did with yellow tours
