We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely beach which is situated around 20 minutes drive from Kingscote. Was there for sunset but was treated with a spectacular moon rise.

Stunning beach, best overall in KI IMO. The water is as beautiful as the pictures show, it's close to Kingscote, and driving on the beach for ease of bringing all your gear. Plenty of space to spread out on a summer afternoon. Wish we had spent more time here, don't miss this beach if you plan to actually swim, if just viewing the beach on a winter day, might not be the best due to cars.

Contrary to the name, you will not see any emus here. It is located on Kangaroo Island and is known for its white sand, clear waters, and long shoreline. Popular activities include swimming, sunbathing, and snorkeling. Fishing is allowed off its jetty. Originally called Maxwell Bay, the name was changed to Emu Bay because at one time dwarf emus resided here in the 1800s. For those so inclined, driving on the beach is allowed.
