We did primitive camping in August. I was very presently surprised with the amount of things to do and the cleanliness of the park. We did several chairs, walked to the falls, played in the creek. We would definitely go again.

We often camp in state parks and this was a typical camping experience for us. We ate at the Birdhouse restaurant on site and it was good. They showcase Indiana foods and did a great job with the tenderloin sandwich. I grew up on them...More

Our family enjoyed a long weekend getaway for Fall Break. We picked our campsite site unseen and wouldn't recommend it (Site 37) but we loved the campground and facilities. We had great family hikes, spent time at the recreation center, and had breakfast at the...More

Cabins are roomy, clean, and a tank-less water heater means long showers are okay. We hiked every trail and had a campfire at a picnic area. 4 stars because we couldn't have a campfire at our cabin, but that wouldn't stop us from going back:)

Took the wife and the 2 dogs for a quite walk in the woods. The falls were a beautiful the trail along the creek bed was a little difficult to follow. All the other trails were well marked. The CCC buildings were impressive

Love this park. The falls are amazing. Go hiking as well. Some nice views. Ride the horses also. Makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but close to town.

McCormick's Creek has some nice trails. From easy to more difficult. We used to go through the cave. Didn't check if it was still open. The hotel is nice. Wish they had an indoor pool and hot tub, but they do have an outdoor pool....More

When we went, I think it was around $50 a night, but it could've gone up by now. It's very primitive, so you need to bring most everything you need but it did have a bathroom and mattresses on the beds. You can check prices... More
