Sunday mass was just amazing at this stunning place. Despite the fact it was extremely busy, communion was served with precision and very impressive. Even the temperature was ambient when outside it had fluctuated between 84 and 52 in consecutive days. An amazing experience not to be missed.

Exterior of the basilica was average looking but you will have a wonderful surprise once you step inside. Absolutely wonderful architecture and original paintings on walls and ceiling. a beautiful new organ installed in August 2016. There are volunteers there to give a tour which we took. They are knowledgeable and friendly.

My first visit to Notre Dame university. The basilica is beautiful. Being there Palm Sunday weekend was a great time to reflect. The stain glass windows were an inspiration of the story of Christ. A must see is going to visit.

The Basilica at Notre Dame is an inspiring place any time but at Easter it is truly remarkable. The Easter flowers and music and superbly done services added to this remarkable shrine make for a truly memorable and inspiring experience. To get a seat we were inline nearly an hour before the 10 am service as it does fill up... More

We attended Easter Triduum and Easter Sunday services at the basilica. Arrive early for football and holiday weekends, as the basilica fills up fast! The basilica is either a bit of a walk across campus or a walk up a bit of a hill, so take advantage of their handicapped parking available close to the basilica with the permission of... More

I really never thought we'd see the artistry in architecture such as in Italy until we entered the Basilica at Norte Dame!! Be sure to proceed slowly throughout so you don't miss anything and be sure to turn around and see the massive organ pipes. Absolutely gorgeous!!

I'm not even Catholic and could appreciate the beauty and spirituality of this magnificent house of worship. They offer tours too so you can hear about the history.

I went on Palm Sunday and the Mass was inspiring great use of the Readers and Choir to tell the final days of Christ before the resurrection. Beautiful church and acoustics of the choir. Get there early to take it all in. This is America's Vatican.

I go every year for Tenebrae and a few time a year for special events. The CSC's are a great order. The history associated with this Basilica is amazing. Take the tour if you can.

A gorgeous chapel amidst an immaculate campus. Stained glass windows and ceiling vault decorations worth checking out. You can see why they are so proud of their traditions at Notre Dame.
