We visited here & really learned a lot of things we did not know. If you are interested in knowing more about the Amish & mennonites this is very informative. It's good to visit different cultures & see the way others live. I really loved it all & would definitely say it's worth your time & money.

This is a most interesting visitor center ($7 admission fee) that gives you a comprehensive view of the Amish and Mennonites who live in the Shipshewanna area. There are both video presentations as well as stationary exhibits and lots of docents to help with any questions you might have. Well worth the time and entrance fee and, of course, a... More

Wonderful! Gives you a good history of the Amish and Mennonites. I learned more here than I did in Pennsylvania.

A must see destination, the Menno-hof uses multiple media and interactive displays to give a balanced and well researched picture of Annabaptistes, Mennonites, and Amish with a little on the Hutterites.

I thoroughly enjoy going to the center. You can get a history lesson along with tall tales. I really enjoy the tornado room.

What a great place to learn about the Amish and Mennonites. My husband and I and with another couple enjoyed the friendly people who took time to answer our questions and explained the differences between the two groups. It's a great place to go if it's cold or raining out.

You have to make time to take this tour and learn about the people around you! The tour is part video and interactive and part self touring. There is an unbelievable amount of information you will take in that will help you better understand the Amish community. We spent almost 2 hours here and it was 7$ a person. We... More

The story of the Amish is told in many means in this establishment. There are a number of different rooms that you experience the history of the Amish or Amish life in some way. The tour takes about an hour if done and one actually takes in more than just he visuals.....reading the information along the way that explains in... More

As sleepy a town as Shipshewana is, my wife and I were extremely impressed with the Menno-Hof Museum. The building, each of the room experiences, the educational information was on a quality with the museums we visited last year in DC. The historical and spiritual perspectives were demonstrated in multi-sensory ways that kept our 14 year old grandson interested. We... More
