The most important thing here is to you good guide or sommelier. Delya Allahverdiyeva organized a great tour with degustation for us. Need to book at least 2 days in advance and group of 6 people minimum we all liked the tour!

So getting to the vineyard was difficult as our satnav took us on a few back roads aka donkey tracks to get there! We had looked up the vineyard and it seemed like they did tours and was certainly somewhere where one could visit. On arriving there there were a lot of men milling about the place. We asked if we could shop for some wine and they just shrugged their shoulders. Even other people didn’t understand. we were a bit confused by the whole thing - it said that they were open still and the forelands vineyard sign was there. So it was a bit disappointing really - all that off road driving for nothing!
