Billie Creek Village is good way to pass some time. There are some worthwhile photo ops. Just be sure that they are open when you go in. The signs at the entrance say you can be arrested if they are not.

We have gone her a lot over the years, but the place has been closed down for several years. I has such great little buildings of the period, wish someone would take it over and open it back up.

A pleasant place to visit and go back in time. The three preserved bridges each offer a fabulous photo opportunity. Billie Creek Village is quaint and the docents/volunteers were all so friendly. The Town Crier--Smiley should win an award. He spoke to us personally and...More

This village is comprised of actual Parke County buildings that were saved, brought on site and platted by architect William Davis. Three of the county's famous covered bridges are here along with a typical farmhouse, general store, school and two churches, among others.

This place is like going bsck in time. I am a nurse, so the doctor's office and old medical buggie were the most interesting. A must see for the historical traveler!

Arrived on a Saturday afternoon. Several of the places were closed. the General Store was open, but they wanted $5.00 a person to go through the village, which was reasonable, but no one else was there and must of the areas were closed. Looked like...More

I attended a wedding right in this area and got to walk through the village. While I am super confused on the why, the place is cool. Someone / some people have spent a lot of time on this with great attention to detail.

I doubt it. The place is somewhat barren.
