About
A special advantage of the Island of Flowers is the preserved natural environment. One of the most significant culturally-historical structures is the structure with mosaics from the ancient period and the remains of the monastery complex of St. Archangel Michael and the church of St. Trinity. This was a famous military resort in the second half of the 20th century with around a hundred small bungalows and untouched nature.

After the first time that I went to this Island I couldn't stop myself keep going! The reason of it is called Flowers Island but without flowers you should ask the Monks in the Monastery. One of the Monks called Father Maxim who speaks very good English.
Very welcoming and full of pure love and doesn't matter where are you coming from or what is your belief or religion!

Fabulous place to anchor off, watch the birds and we were lucky enough to see a shoal of dolphin, such a paradise, warm water great swimming and fish everywhere. One of the prettiest places to visit.

Islend of flowers. Without flowers. Very nice and quiet.You can find a quiet place to sunbathe and swim in the sea without many people. But the place is not very clean.

Ooook, the name of the island is Island of Flowers, but the question is Where is the flowers? Cause we didn't see any...Maybe the problem is that we were here on February and flowers are just preparing to show themselves soon?!
I will tell you what we found on this island. We found a peaceful, mysterious atmosphere here.... It is really cool to go upper and upper and see a lot of small old houses, the old church and house of monks, who were kind to us, smile everytime while we were passing by them and the view from this place on the Kotor Bay and island is amazing, green grass, dark mountains, deep blue Kotor Bay and fog, just you and nature, wow!

Stunning place to stop by and visit on your boat trip of Tivat Bay. You must be covered up and not wearing your swimsuit if you want to walk around the island and inside the church. The outside of the island you can sunbathe and swim. A place perfect for an exotic wedding!

Были в сентябре месяце. Ничего стоящего для посещения не увидели. Цветов немного. Можно приехать чисто для галочки / We were in September. Nothing worth to visit. Not so many flowers as we would like to see. You can visit this place just to put tick imho.

Still no flowers and this is April. Our waiter talked with great excitement about this place. It has little to commend it. It is just another sad reminder of simpler days before Marinas, Wealth and Cruise Ships. In the fifties it might have an been ideal location for a Famous Five adventure. In 2017, it is just a sad, dilapidated, place that offers little brightness and no welcome

Once upon a time this place was very popular and glamorous, unfortunately now it is pretty dirty and completely neglected. However, you can find a very quite spot to sunbath and swim without many people around.

The best island on the Balkan, a lot of good and happy peoples. This island is near the beach Kalardovo, but near to Tivat too.
