    Thank you Anna!
We came to Mount Rosa this afternoon (June 24th) and had Anna from Minnesota as our server. Normally she works the vines but said she works on the weekends in house. She did an amazing job and had such great knowledge of wines! We had a great time. She catered for about 5 other tables at the same time. Amazing job and an asset to your company. Thank you Anna. Also amazing wines and all staff very friendly!

What a fabulous winery! Everything from the rustic building, delicious wines and platter, laid back atmosphere and amazing staff made our visit perfect. We were lucky enough to have Bindi look after us... what a delight, full of enthusiasm and knowledge, she is worth her weight in gold! We will definitely be back

    A sensational afternoon’s wine tasting.
We had a wonderful afternoon tasting the beautiful wines and cheeses on offer at Mt Rosa. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable and we were looked after expertly by Bindy. She was a breath of fresh air, very friendly and happy to spend time sharing her knowledge of wines with us. We loved it!

Knowledgeable staff, chatty and friendly. Great location inside and out with a dining room for about 15 persons. Good options on the menu but we only had the truffle fries as heading out for dinner later. Believe our host was Ray and he certainly made it interesting. Worth the visit as good wines

Quality winery tasting with the owner !
Great visit to Mt Rosa where the winery owner took the time to talk us through each of his wines. Located in Gibbston, a short 30 min drive from Queenstown. The wines are of excellent quality and well priced. Well worth a visit.

Great place to stop and sample some very good wines
Lots of wineries to choose from, but loved the intimate feel of Mt Rosa. Selections of wine to try were fantastic. Yes bought a couple to try during our trip and to take home with us. The food platter was just the right of food and very tasty to boot! Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and the Owner came over and had a quick chat with us too which was great. Well worth the visit!

Highlight of our Gibbston wine tour - special mention to superstar Bindy!
Wonderful first visit to arguably one of Central Otago’s best cellar doors. From the spectacular setting overlooking the lower Gibbston Valley to the exceptional customer service and superb wines, I can certainly see why my friends recommended this as a must do on a wine tour of the area! Bindy was especially helpful and highly knowledgeable of the wines on offer, going the extra mile to ensure we had an enjoyable experience on a sunny Gibbston afternoon. Her passion for the winery, their offering and the wider industry was obvious and enhanced our experience. Will definitely be back again, hopefully soon! Thanks again Bindy and team!

    Truly brilliant
We only stopped by the winery to pick up Bindy (Wine guru) on a fantastic helicopter tasting tour. This is the best thing ever. An awesome Xmas present that we gave each other. Her knowledge of not only local wines, but internationally also was brilliant. We learnt so much from her. We have been on many wine tastings, this tops them all. The wines that she gave us to tase and descriptions about them was top class. Thank you so much Bindy, we had an absolute blast.

Great wine and food in the Gibbston Valley.
Just the best place for a winery lunch in the Gibbston Valley. Great service and a great atmosphere in their new cellar door restaurant. The Salmon platter was superb. Try it with their delicious Pinot Blanc, you wont be disappointed.

This was the last place we visited on our wine tour and it was just beautiful, the sun was going down, and we sat inside by the fireplace as it was cooling off, the older gentleman who hosted us was so friendly, and we felt very comfortable and welcome there and the wee dog was gorgeous, such a nice relaxed atmosphere, it was the perfect last stop on our special day, and we thoroghly enjoyed the tastings here, but especially the mulled wine we were treated to. We all said we would like to come back next time as the food we saw looked wonderful too. Thank you for having us.

This winery has a good vibe and is quiet popular. It has a good range to taste test and the staff certainly know their products. Very similar experience to other wineries we have visited and the pricing of their wines is also very much on par.

We liked this place very much. It was the last place we go to on the winehopper tour bus with the guide. This place was so sunny in the late afternoon and we sit outside and have wine tastings of about 6 wines I think, there were a couple of white whites first then we go onto the pinots which were great too. This was a very relaxed place with lots of people outside. We liked this vibe of this place very much and Rae was very nice and also funny. We definely recommend this place for a chill factor with nice sun and wine. We didn't order food but we saw some others get some and it looked good, so next time we come here first I think and have food. Tak Rae it was awesome!

I picked this location because I am the only wine drinker in our family and yet they had something for everyone! While I enjoyed my tasting with the friendly and super informative Bindi, my other half enjoyed a non-alcoholic beer and my little played in the grass with the giant bean bag chairs. The wine was very tasty, refreshing whites and solid reds. Highly recommend the Pinot Blanc and 2017 Pinot Noir. So glad this was our only wine stop on our trip to NZ!

The winery is set in a wonderful location and enjoyable but challenging bike ride from the beginning of the valley, having booked in Queenstown. The wines and food were delicious and the service from our waitress Bindi was exceptional!! She was knowledgeable, accommodating and so helpful with suggestions and service she is clearly a credit to the business! Thank you very much Bindi!!

Nice location. We had two shared platters between 4. Needed more bread/crackers to accompany it. Staff attentive and well trained in the spiel for the wine tasting. Wasn't a fan of the Pinot Noir.

Mt Rosa was the third winery we visited in NZ and we're so glad we did. From the moment we arrived the atmosphere was inviting, homey and welcoming. The staff were friendly and approachable but not overbearing.

We chose to sit outside on the deck overlooking the vines and mountains and it could not have been a more picturesque spot to have a light lunch and wine tasting. The food was delicious and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable about the wines, giving us a nice explanation of each wine before we tasted it.

We visited at a very busy time and the wine tasting was a little bit on the slower side to begin with however it didn't matter when we were in such lovely surrounds (and the food came out very quickly).

We could not recommend this winery enough and would 100% return here over some of the other wineries in the region.
