Cactus in Bloom
Nov. 2021
Really enjoyed seeing all the different cactus, many of which were in bloom and were stunning. We were disappointed in the amount of weeds throughout the garden beds and grounds. The whole complex needs a lot of maintenance.

Spectacular Flowering Cactus on this Unique Property
Nov. 2021
The range of cacti was mind-blowing and the flowering cactus were spectacular!! Go as soon as you can so you don’t miss the flowers. Eat the cactus cake with cactus ice cream. And book a tour with John to learn fascinating cacti facts and about the property. Great place for photography with the desert scape and Dr Seuss-like freaky plant profiles. The staff were friendly staff and we had a wonderful day in this unique and amazing place.

bad timing
Nov. 2021
it was good generally, especially if you simply want something different. But when I went there, it's a bit of wrong and good timing at the same time: good because it's flowring season, so you got more colour splash into the scenery, wrong because it was just a couple days after a very bad wheather. I believe it's the main reasons why some of the cactus fell and the fact that it was raining on the day I went there made the walking trail a bit muddy. there's barely any place to defend yourself from the rain once you're in the middle of the trail so that's my biggest negative point. other than that, it's just small stuff that not necessarily big enough to be complained about and I generally enjoyed my time and my cactus cuisines. you love cactus and succulents? give this place a shot!

What an incredible place! A cactus lovers paradise. There are so many varieties of cacti, beautifully coloured flowers, activities for kids to do while exploring. It is well worth the trip to visit this awesome place and you can even buy your own cacti before you leave ;)

Had a great time - haven't been there for 8-9 years so very impressed as same as before but even better!! Loved the fact that dogs allowed !! Our children had a great time and loved that flowers in bloom - even though my 8yo's fav cactus was the "sea cucumber". :)
Cactus icecream amazing!!!!

Family fun day out
Nov. 2021 • Family
Really unique and fun day out. The cactus are amazing in real life. We visited during the flowering season which made for some special photographs. The nachos (especially the beef) was surprisingly delicious. They also had a huge selection of cactus plants for sale, much better than what we could get in the city. We spent about 4 hours there.
