Whenever I end up in Valparaiso I HAVE to go to this place!!!!! I can't eat sugar, and they have the BEST selection of sugar-free candy I have found anywhere. AND, in BULK! Not like at home where I can buy the small bags of sugar-free candy for $3 for about 6 pieces. I can get pounds of chocolate, all... More

The chocolate fountain delivered on the wow factor! The candy is so good! The windows and videos on making the candy were very entertaining! I definitely recommend stopping in for 15 minutes to stretch your legs if your passing through!!! - I have a feeling you are a regular if you live nearby.

Stopped by the Candy Factory on a quick day trip to Merrillville. I would definitely recommend making a stop if you are passing through. The kids (ages 14 and 17) loved it also.

This is a working candy factory. The building has been expanded several times and the parking lot is always full but find a space and go in. You walk into a charming house but the minute you get inside the door, you realize you are no longer in Kansas Dorothy. There is a genuine chocolate fountain that runs all day.... More

This place is awesome if you have a really bad sweet tooth or you love a million varieties of nuts. The location is in close proximity to the mall and all kinds of shopping and you kids will absolutely love you for taking them there.

The kids and I often stop here to get candies. It has become increasingly large and very very busy. Their gummy bears can't be beat. They have tours and windows where you can see the candy being made. Sometimes they have the Easter bunny/Santa. The worst part is checking out the lines can get very long and take quite some... First time visiting the Candy Factory. Not very large and being 2 weeks before Easter, very busy. A lot of candy jammed into a small place. The chocolate candies are deliciuos. Took our young grandchildren and they had their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. That went well and people doing that were very good with the children. Long lines... More

We always visit Albanese when we come to Indiana. I always purchase the biggest bag of Gummie Bears that they sale. They have a hughe selection of candy. You can also try it before you buy any. It can get pretty crowded at times though.
