Love to see covered bridges. This bridge is Indiana's longest covered bridge. It is not in working order as you cannot drive across it but you can walk across it no problem.

I decided to stop here while taking a road trip through Southern Indiana. Seeing the longest covered bridge in the United States was worth it. It is not open to vehicular traffic, but it is easily accessible. You can also fish here if you'd like.

Trying to avoid the interstates, we happened up this covered bridge. Reported to be the longest covered bridge in the USA, it is well worth stopping to see it.

Took a longer route home to see the covered bridge. It was worth the extra miles. Very nicely refurbished. Closed to vehicle traffic. Located right off HWY 235 in Medora. You can pull off the road and park and walk along the bridge. There was...More
