Squire Boone Caverns is a natural wonder attraction that provides guests a respite from their plugged-in, technology heavy lives. Squire Boone, American pioneer and legend, discovered the caverns in 1790 and soon built a thriving settlement centered around Boone's Mill, which is still operating today. Rich in history and geological wonders, guests to the Caverns will leave with plans to visit again and again. Along with the cave tour and Historic Boone's Mill, activities at the Caverns include: Indiana's Largest Rock Shop and Gem-Mining Sluice, the Soap Shop, Hannah Boone's Candle Shop, homemade sweets and savory lunch options at the kitchen and a nature trail to simply take some time out. For the adventurous, make a reservation for the Squire Boone Caverns Zipline Adventure. The tree-top canopy course is family-friendly (a smaller zipline course is available for those who may not meet the height requirements). The complete tour through the beautiful grounds at Squire Boone Caverns includes 6 canopy zip lines and a swinging suspension bridge. Squire Boone Caverns Zipline Adventures is ACCT (Association for Challenge Course Technology) certified for installation, maintenance and operation, so you can feel secure and concentrate on having fun!

I took my third grade class on a field trip to Squire Boone Caverns. Levi was our cave guide. He had a great sense of humor and kept the kids engaged. He asked lots of questions and was very knowledgeable about the cave formations and history. The rest of the staff was very friendly and easy to work with. They... More

We have been to many of the area caves. This is an excellent tour and a beautiful cave. Our tour guide, Breanna, gave us a great tour- pointing out things we would have walked right by without her insight. The bat formation is really cool! Good flow stone and formations throughout the tour not just one thing to see. We... More

Great, scenic tour of the caverns. Lasted about an hour. Beautiful lighting inside to see the incredible details of the cavern.

I am a leader of a school group of 60 4th and 5th graders who love history. We visit here every other year. This was our best visit yet. The owners have opened a new route through the cave so you don't have to turn around at the end and retrace your steps. Not that it was a problem before... More

I've visited probably a dozen caves and this is by far one of the best, if not the best. The cave is beautifully preserved, incredibly active and the staff really cares about this historic cave. Our tour guide was funny, knowledgeable and was very open to any and all questions. One thing this cave did better than any other cave... More

Thank you so much for visiting and thank you so much for the review. Our maintenance staff will be so excited to hear your review. They take great pride in hiding the wires and the lights. They feel the cave is so beautiful and they don't want anything to disrupt the beauty of the cave. More

Took 4 grandkids on April 1, 2017 and had a wonderful time. The people there are so helpful, accommodating and positive. They went out of their way to make our visit a very pleasurable time and made special arrangements to take care of us which was much appreciated. Special kudos to tour guide Levi. What a fine young man and... More

We visited as part of the Indiana Cave Trail. We visited over spring break so the little town wasn't open. Amazed at the water that flowed throughout the cavern. Our Guide Ron was very knowledgeable about the cave, formations and history. He was down to earth and easy to talk to and understand. The amount of water running throughout the... More

What an amazing experience. We thought it was a little pricy until we went. We were disappointed that all the extra stuff was not available during winter months. Will definitely go back at some time and visit the shops and try out the zip line.

We have been in many caverns through out the country and this ranked up as one of the best. This cavern had so many formations and they were just amazing to look at. The waterfalls were an added plus. Our tour guide Paige was great, very informative and pleasant. Beware, there are about 70 steps up a winding staircase to... More

One of the most beautiful caverns we have visited! Being February and the slow season, we were the only two on the tour and felt like it was personalized just for us. Our tour guide, whose name I forgot, started us off with a box around our neck and earbuds. This was the first time we had used this device... More

Thank you so much for the review. Most people don't think about coming to caves in February because they think they are cold but it's just the opposite. We are a nice 54 degrees all year around. I will let the staff know you enjoyed your tour and once again thank you so much! More
