My husband and I along with another couple visited this winery while staying in Madison doing the Indiana Wine Trail. There is a small bar to do the tasting. The gal who did ours was very knowledgeable about each wine telling us the history, exactly what we'd be tasting, how to pair it best with different foods, and how best... More

This winery is full of charm and personality. Tastings are free and served with lots of personalization and explanation. They always have special events on the calendar like live music and dinners. These guys are simply the best!

Where do we start. There were three wineries in town and we were so glad we picked this one. To start with, the building is just a block or so from the main strip in Madison. The building is from 1800's and the decor is eclectic. We walked in and was met by Steve, who was extremely friendly and offered... More

We were warned beforehand, by other visitors, that a male you might encounter during a wine tasting is very pompous, long wined, and a complete bore. Thank goodness he wasn't there the day we visited. We must have encountered the man's sister or wife. Because she was, as well as described above, extremely rude. Don't waste your time unless your... We stopped by with a small group and were quickly seated for a tasting of several wines. Even the guys who "don't drink wine" found a couple they liked. We stayed to share a couple of bottles and cheese that we purchased and brought a few more home. Very hospitable.

I visit all the wineries each November during the Fall Wine Haul and then again when I take occasional visits south...I love Madison and I love this winery most of all the ones I visit...they have the most knowledgeable employees...they take the time to explain each wine during tastings...they don't just toss you a shot and move on to the... I stopped by on a rainy day in July and chatted with the owner. He was very knowledgable about wine and it's history. I love the lighter sweet wines from this winery. I will go back in my next visit.

The establishment is easily accessed downtown. It is charming and has an outdoor patio. We stopped around lunch and settled on a red wine along with a fresh baguette (made daily on the premises). Then we choice some different cheeses and Italian meats for an Italian like lunch. The young lady who was hosting there that day was a delight... More

The wines were so, so. Needed a bit more flavoring. The winery itself was decorated comfy and was more like a bar/restaurant.
