Visited on Monday 17th February, we were staying nearby and went for a walk along the river late arvo, very popular with the locals out running or cycling getting some exercise.

Great playground and picnic areas, easily accessible, quality facilities and well maintained parkland. Easy access for all abilities (strollers, wheelchairs, walkers etc) including flat pathways and grassed areas. Highly recommended.

This lovely park was just across the road from where we stayed. The park itself is a fantastic place to wander by the river and feed the birds while watching the world go by. Plenty of room for the kids to play

The adults will love walking along the pretty Barwon River and the kids will love the array of attractions. One of my favourite spots in Geelong

Excellent variety of things for the kids to play on also undercover area if you wish to have some lunch

If pull into Barwon Valley Fun Park and surprise boys in back I always here “YEAH, thanks Dad”. They burst out of car and run across grassy landscape: rope pyramid, push-go-round, flying fox or swings. Else we kick a footy or shoot some hoops. Beside the Barwon River it’s just a beautiful setting for all ages to enjoy.

Barwon Valley Park is an excellent Park to take your kids to play, walk your dog and admire its surroundings, you can also have picnic or BBQ and there is even a coffee shop very close by (across the road). I guess the only thing to be mindful of , it's close to the river, so watch those kids.

Great bbq's, plenty of fun equipment to keep the kids busy and a wonderful walk path. Great place for picnics in the Geelong region and 10 min drive to the city. A couple of great caravan parks over the road.

Great area to go for a walk with the family and dog. Close to the town centre yet plenty of space and quiet spots
