The Kokomo Automotive Museum closed in may 2018 because they lost their space. They are planning to re-open in the new convention center when it's complete in a year or two.

The highlight of this smaller automobile museum is the collection of Haynes-Apperson automobiles, that were manufactured in Kokomo. They even have a 1904 model, which is in excellent condition. Other models range from 1910s through mid 19200s, when the company went out of business. These...More

Great to visit. Wonderful array of cars from the 50's and 60's as well. Do visit if you are in town!

This museum is a great history of cars made in Kokomo and Indiana. It also includes other models and takes you on a timeline of cars. The cars are amazing. This is an excellent spot for anyone to visit. The gift shop is nice too.

Nice collection of cars, of course many Haynes. To my amazement, a late 1990's GM EV1, most were destroyed once leases were up and GM finished with this early electric experiment. I never expected to see one in person.

They have quite possibly the largest collection of Haynes automobiles in the world, as well as Apperson and a few other marques that I had never heard of, and I'm a car guy. Jay Leno has visited here, if that tells you anything! All in...More

This history filled, open vista museum is a quiet gem sitting on a busy road that many people pass every day and don't see !! It's all on one level so there's no stairs to climb. The range of cars covers the earliest to the...More
