(Must be noted that museum will be moving to new location soon on Mass. Ave.) Good ol' Kurt. If you're ready to renew your appreciation for Hoosier writer Kurt Vonnegut then this is the place to go. Lots of personal memorabilia. Nice space that recreates Kurt's writing space. You WILL come across something that inspires you. The person staffing the... More

My mother was in his class at Shortridge, and she had her opinions about him, so, I wanted to explore and did. Interesting.

This is a small, but well organized museum / library. I visited the library with my daughter for a school project. We took a interesting (free) tour and enjoyed our visit a lot. My daughter loved writing on the type writer.

My 3 friends and I learned a lot about Kurt's life and the tour guide/host knew so much about his life. You could tell that the host loved his job. It is a 30min to hour stop and definitely worth it if you appreciate Vonnegut's work.

This is a great little place. We are big literary geeks so this was perfect for us. The host there was fantastic and took us on a tour and showed us around telling us great stories with each item. Everything is very organized and well displayed. Worth the stop!

This growing memorial library is a fitting tribute to hometown author, Kurt Vonnegut. It is filled with artifacts related to Vonnegut including a recreation of his office. The staff is well informed and are able to share info and personal tidbits about Vonnegut. Due to limited space, many items spend time in storage but the library is in the initial... More

We were there on a quiet Sunday which gave the curator time to give us a really thorough tour. There are only two rooms but they are crammed full of memorabilia and history.

I'm an English teacher, and my husband surprised me on date night with a trip to this place. It's truly a hidden gem! Vonnegut is such a varied and interesting author. The museum is small but beautiful and very interesting. The artwork is especially intriguing to look through. I highly recommend checking this place out!

This small little library was a nice stop between activities. It's easy to find and walk to from down town locations. For anyone who is a big fan, you will love it. I have only read one book but still appreciated how much they had of his personal belongings and information about him.

Definitely worth a stop in. Do ask for a tour of the museum, and do make sure you leave a suitable donation (at least $10/person).
