The architecture is so beautiful. The rotunda area is open and there are balconies overlooking on each floor. Lots of history and art. There is a chapel on 4th floor.

I was glad to walk inside the rotunda of the capitol building to view its architecture and read about its history. I especially love the Civil War memorials/history that are on the grounds.

A beautiful building worth your time. Do take a guided tour to learn as much as possible. Special interest displays are in the rotunda.

Not a normal stop for us, but well worth it. The Intern that took us to all the sites in the capitol great. We learned a lot about the State Government. The Capitol Site is beautiful. Glad we decided to look around.
