Lots of percussion instruments to see, plus a small area where you can play around in a soundproof "practice" room. The kids will love it - just make sure you are ready to hear a lot of banging and clanging! This is not a huge...More

My toddler loved it. We stayed at the Embassy Suites next door, so walked over and spent an hour before closing time one day.

An outstanding place for people of all ages. You see the history of percussion development from many cultures; see exhibits featuring the instruments of famous percussionists; and then have the fun of playing with many of the museum's vast collection of percussion.

We've been here several times, and as our kids get older they learn and enjoy it in new ways. There's lots of museum/historical things to learn about the creation and evolution of rhythm instruments for older kids or musicians/ music buffs, and tons of hands...More

Visited on a Saturday morning when a percussion group from a middle school in Kentucky was featured in the performance space. Enjoyed the permanent exhibits, but loved the middle grades performance.
