Home to over 2,000 animals and Indiana's largest aquarium, this 64-acre zoo has lions, elephants and other wild animals roaming through natural settings. A special petting area allows children to touch, but not feed, the tamer animals. There's also the world's largest enclosed dolphin show and a roller-coaster for all ages to enjoy.

Everyone had a great time and did not want to leave. They appeared to be in expansion mode. Several encoders had "coming soon" signs. The day was very hot so many of the animals were hidden in the shade.

Be prepared for a pricey zoo visit. We were surprised that the basic entry fee was around $26 plus $10 for parking the car. You do get to see the zoo and dolphin show for that price. You can also upgrade to see the aquarium...More

Zoo was very nice, but kind of expensive. The macaw exhibit was neat and the sea lions were very interesting.

We had a great day at the zoo. It's a beautiful zoo and very stretched out. I have been to tons of zoos and I think this one gets it's title of being one of "the best" from the sheer size of it. I would...More

This is a great zoo/aquarium/botanical garden. Went for the day and ended up buying a season pass. Animals displayed in large habitats and appear well treated. Clean and well maintained. A few "gripes". First the monorail over the Orangutan exhibit is very short and, unless...More

The above is correct. Only service dogs are allowed at the zoo. One of the main reasons is for the safety of the zoo animals.
