School field trip chaperone for 1st graders field trip. LOVE this museum. The dinosaur area is worth the visit alone. For field trips, they have the system down to a science. Our kids loved it and only complaint was that they wished they had more...More

This is a world class children's museum. Best enjoyed by kids twelve and under. If you live in central Indiana and have never taken your kids here, shame on you.

My grandbabies came for a visit and since it was raining we went to the children's museum. They had a blast there was plenty to do for all ages of children. We had a great day and made great memories with them.

The Children's Museum is a fun, rainy day activity for learning with your children. However, quite a few of the exhibits are starting to show their age and could stand to be updated. If you haven't been, you should still go.

Went to the Children's Museum of Indianapolis with my daughter and granddaughter. There was something for each one of us to enjoy. Weekends are very busy, so be prepared to spend 3 hours or more.

This is an interactive experience for young and young at heart alike. I love to take grandkids, friends with children. We have extended family that comes from Prague. The Children's Museum is always first on their list of places to go.

The Children's Museum is a unique facility as it really caters to kids getting involved with science, history, etc by being so interactive. Rather than you can look but don't dare touch anything, there are numerous exhibits where the kids can get right in there...More

I am actually a Indianapolis Children's Museum Member. I love it and so do my daughter and husband. The best money spent on membership ever. A must see, so many exhibits and things to do and the staff is always very nice.

I would allow 3-4 hours. There maybe certain areas that don't interest you or the kids and you can skip those areas.
