All the kids loved it. Great for toddlers for hands on play. 4 levels so wear your walking shoes. Easy to find. Looks like December would be perfect to go. Lots of Christmas stuff

Mostly this place would serve as an excellent place for school field trips . We did not think it was fun , my daughter (9) was getting board a little. i believe the tickets were kind of pricey as this place again has no rides or fun activities beside story telling.

We make it a point to visit once a year or more since we live so far away but we love coming! We have never been around christmas and after hearing about how cool the museum is then. We are making it a point to go. Its pricey but worth every penny!

This museum has plenty of exhibits to entertain children (and adults) of all ages, but we were thrilled to see so many toddler-friendly attractions! Our 3-1/2 year old daughter particularly enjoyed the following exhibits: Doc McStuffins, Playscape, Pirates & Princesses: Storybook Adventures, Take Me There: China, and the Dow AgroSciences ScienceWorks. We arrived shortly after the museum opened at 10... More

This review covers well over a decade, as our family, including four young children when we first visited the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, has not only visited the museum many, many times, but have held a yearly family membership for most of the years. This is a top-flight organization, and the museum itself is constantly upgrading its facilities and refreshing... More

You will have a great day at the IMS Museum. There are many activities for young and old. Don't forget to see the photo library upstairs and take the bus trip around the 2 and a half mile oval! See all the historic race cars in the museum.

My son loves dinosaurs, and the dinosaur area in this museum is top-notch. Lots of information, interactive areas to explore, and presentations by friendly and knowledgeable staff. There are other areas of the museum that definitely seemed geared toward a younger age group, but there's enough for the older kids to stay interested (9-10). I don't think there's much here... Tickets are pricey, but it really is a world class museum! They have free admission on one Thurs. a month (check the website for more info). There are permanent and rotating exhibitions, and lots of interactive exhibits for all ages.

This is a surprisingly great adult experience. The technology interactions are well-designed. the topics are far removed from "cliche", and the staff is helpful and engaged in their work. I came sans kids and was highly impressed.

Took our youngest 2 here today while the teenager participated in a band show. It was not long ago that we chased him around this museum. It is always a great place to explore. Lots of new things since we were here. Enjoyed all the sessions we could catch too. Liberty bell space show, Ruby Bridges, pond life, puppet show... More
