I had the pleasure of coming to this quaint town on business. I love how they are revitalizing the old downtown. Trying to get aquatinted with town, I stumbled across the Artcraft. I peaked through the windows and just new I had to enter. Upon entering I was greeted by a woman - wish I could recall her name because... More

We took the afternoon off and traveled to Franklin to experience the Historic Movie Cinema. It was a blast. They are doing a wonderful job of preserving & restoring this theater that was built in 1922. Very nostalgic. We were totally surprised by the fact it has 600+ seats! The African Queen was the movie......... great quality 35 mm film.... More

My Red Hat group was happy with the nice atmosphere on their Senior Day. It is a lovely venue with reasonable prices on popcorn, etc. We thought it was a worthwhile trip down to Franklin from Indianapolis.

I grew up in Franklin & coming here brings back very fond childhood memories. Now I bring my grandchildren here & they love seeing the "old fashioned" place where Grandma used to go to the movie at. Thanks for the memories!

This Art Deco theatre is being restored by a not for profit historic preservation group. The volunteers clearly love the place and treat every patron like a family member or long lost friend. It just makes for a fun night with the HUGE screen, ample seats and classic old movies. Free refills on the best and freshest popcorn you will ever... More

The Artcraft has been a Frankli Icon longer than I've been alive, (I just turned 67 yrs. old). I remember going there as a child, a teenager & we took our children there to see movies. They now show classic movies at special times thru the week & during the month.

Great fun place to see any movie in the historic heart of Franklin. Cool to see the original Bond on the big screen!

My mom and I went to the Artcraft to see Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (one of my all-time favorites), and it was a wonderful experience. What a step back in time! Very affordable and has a great movie selection. If you love the classics, you'll love this place.

You will love everything about this theatre! From the moment you enter, you will see smiling faces ready to help you enjoy your evening. The theatre itself makes you feel like you've been transported back in time. The movie selection is outstanding, and you always have the ability to request a film you'd really like to see! Popcorn, drink, and... More
