Science Central was built with young kids in mind. They can touch, operate & view many, many science projects themselves. This is a very kid friendly place to go for their enjoyment.

This is a great hands-on experience good for families and kids ranging from young ages to young adults. It is a big facility with a LOT of different exhibits, including a traveling exhibit room and a VERY nice earth Science on a Sphere exhibit. I've been to well over a dozen of these science centers and children's museums throughout the... More

Mostly a time killer for the younger children. Can spend a couple of hours then seems to lose interest. One to two visits while the kids are young is enough!

Took our 3 and 7 year old grandchildren there over spring break. While the younger children play area was great, the 7 year old was a little young for many of the attractions.

My family of 7, including two teenagers, spent a fun-filled afternoon at Science Central. Admission was only $9/ person and teachers get in free 😊. There are two levels of activities that include a three story slide and a high rail bike. Our favorite activity of the day was the sideways room... it had everyone cracking up! After our visit... We took my grandchildren for the day. They enjoyed visiting the different areas and learning about different things. The day we were there a hospital was hosting the day and there were many tables to stop and learn at and "win" prizes The slide was also a great time for the kids!

Great place for young children to experiment with all kinds of science based equipment. We liked that each area had exhibits set up for many ages. It's a hands on place that all young ages can get a feel for what makes things work. There is plenty of free parking available. There are vending machines and tables available in the... More
