One of the many waterfalls in the area, this waterfall is at the end of a very easy walking track which leads to a viewing platform.

Toilets are very basic at the camping area, which is approx. 500m from the falls.

I’ve visited dozens of waterfalls and this is probably the most kid friendly waterfall in terms of accessibility. Very easy mostly flat walk from carpark. Loved the bridge over the creek as well.

TIPS: no toilets (toilets at campground further along track)

DIRECTIONS: from Melbourne drive thru town of Forrest. Turn right down Upper Gelibrand Rd and drive along fairly good condition dirt road for 5-10 minutes until you get to car park past sign

Stumbled on this place while driving up to Forest from Apollo Bay. The gravel road takes you down into the valley for about 6 kms when you arrive at the Stevenson’s Falls campground and the falls are another 2.5 kms along the track. It is accessible with a 2WD but take it easy as a track is not overly wide. The falls are only 300 mtrs from the car park and were flowing well after a good rain. Remember to pack a lunch and if it is a hot day you can cool off in the river.

We visited after rains and the waterfall was absolutely lovely. A very short and easy walk from the carpark, about 500 metres , takes you to the waterfall. But, don't miss the lovely woods on the entry, it is absolutely picturesque.

Great waterfall! Always has water flowing over it. Can climb down to the bottom around the rocks and swim in the water. If your feeling adventurous can also climb in behind the fall.

We visited the falls on a short road trip along the great ocean road and the Otways National Park. A short walk from the car park was well worth it.

Only stayed one night - but loved it. Stayed on a Sunday night hoping for less people - and whilst there were about 20 groups there, there was plenty of room for everyone without it feeling crowded. Loved the walk down to the falls, and the resident ducks were a highlight for my daughter. There are plenty of sites, lots of campfire pits, the toilets were clean and the layout is great for creating little private spaces whilst being in among other groups.

Unfortunately we did have one small but noisy group of campers - everyone else was fine, and as mentioned there were a number of groups there. A little consideration when camping goes a long way.

It was lovely walking to the falls in the rain, not a hard trek and the tall trees on the way are beautiful. Worth a visit

We hadn’t planned to come to this Waterfall, but after chatting with another visitor, he recommended it. It is easily reached - park your car in the car park for day visitors (not where the caravans and campers are - and then the falls are short, beautiful 500m walk from there.
