It's a very small park but nice. You can tell it's well kept by someone who loves James Dean. It was rather late in the season so the flowers were a bit on the wane but I can see that earlier in the growing season...More

The statue in Fairmount is just like the one at Griffith observatory in LA. Very nice to see (don't have to go out to CA to see it!). It's a sweet tribute.

this little James Dean Memorial park is a great place to sit down for awhile, it right in town in Fairmount, but quiet and serene.

The best time to visit is during James Dean days. Lots of old cars, food, flea market, swamp meets and more.
