It is nice to see how well they have preserved and restored this beautiful home fo a once prominent Evansville family. it appears a lot of the furnishings are original and the workmanship that went into building this home is magnificent.

We loved our tour of the home. It's beautiful and definitely a "must-see" in Evansville. Our tour guide was very likeable, as well. The video they have you watch at the beginning is pretty dreadful, though. It's old, so the audio and video is awful....More

The Reitz is very nicely restored and an interesting addition to our visits of many different historic homes. It has some original furnishings plus rooms restored to original owner condition. However, the tour itself was awkward; I would have rather meandered through on my own....More

The black walnut doors in this house are absolutely beautiful as well as many of the fireplace finishing. Great place to spend a couple of hours.

7.50 for adults. Not sure about children. Group rates available. Not sure about handicap accessible. I think there is a ramp around back. Website should tell you what you need to know.
