The library is cool for many reasons, one of them for genealogy, It takes more time to locate information at times but it sure beats paying for information over the Internet. Finding ones relatives could and should be fun. The architecture of the building is another reason to visit.

Beautiful design both inside and out. The staff was lovely and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, no ghost sightings for our trip. But still a wonderful stop none the less.

It was a quiet and helpful library. We were welcomed as we came in. They had everything that we were looking for. If they did not have it they said they would order it in for me. I love that they have have all the magazines that I read and now do not have to buy at the store. They... More

This is an interesting and well kept old building with such a useful function yet. It is interesting to tour and the people who work there are knowledgeable and so helpful. It has such an extensive history of the area as well as a good genealogy department. What we enjoyed most was the structure of the building as well as... More

They've allegedly had paranormal activity at this library. It's original structure is beautiful, there is a small park outside where you can read in the summer shade. There is a great children's section in the basement. The Librarian's are especially helpful. If you're scared of ghost's, then avoid Willard at Halloween!

We stop in annually when in town for a conference. Great historic building to visit. Be sure to visit downstairs in the children's section and talk to Anita and Rhonda about the gray lady.

...in a truly magnificent old building. This is pretty much the history of the entire region, in exhaustive detail. Their geneaology section is said to be one of the best around.

What a neat place to visit. We go at halloween time to do the ghost walk through and they tell you stories about the grey lady. Kinda spooky and the kids always have fun. Plus it's a really neat old library.

Heard for years about the Gray Lady ghost and wanted to go in and see the place. Staff there were friendly. They probably get people walking around just to see it all the time who aren't really there to "use" the library. Woodwork and architecture were beautiful! It has the smell of an old place full of books. Neat. Wanted... More

Always took our daughter to Willard for story time. A great library with lots of examples of architecture of the period. One of the landmarks of Southern Indiana in easy access to downtown and other great attractions.
