Located in Downtown Evansville, Indiana, The Koch Family Children's Museum...

Located in Downtown Evansville, Indiana, The Koch Family Children's Museum of Evansville (cMoe) offers over 18,000 square feet of galleries and exhibits, housed in a beautiful historic Art Deco building once home to the public library. The mission of the museum is to spark the curious minds and imaginations of children and their families through dynamic exhibits, programs, and activities. Museum staff and supporters strive to meet that mission everyday by encouraging young minds to explore all that cMoe offers and experience learning through play. Children (and their parents) are encouraged to play hands-on with galleries and exhibits. Popular favorites include performing a play in the 5th Street Theater, splashing in the Wet Deck, climbing through Moe the two-story duck, playing the laser harp, acting like a booger in a giant nose, and chatting with the talking Mark Twain bust. cMoe is located within walking distance to downtown restaurants and other attractions. Hours of Operation Tuesday through Thursday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday to Saturday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday: Noon to 5 p.m. CLOSED MONDAYS

I am sure that it was great when they first started it, and it might be a nice place to take a first grade class on a field trip. But most of the kids get bored extremely fast with most of the items in here and when we visited a few of the experiments weren't even functional. They need to... More

I took my 7 year old nephew and we had a blast! It's a place where you have to use your imagination! At first, he just ran around looking at things, but after a while, he really got in to pretending and figuring out the exhibits. We spent about 3 hours there. You will lose a kid, but don't worry,... Great place for kids and the kid in you. Lots to do and the area has some nice restaurants in the revitalized downtown with The Ford Center for sports action and concerts a short walk away.

We had a great time, there could have been some more supervision at the chi it that blows the tulle scarves out of the tubes. There were some very rough children. But that's just kids being kids. The water room was a hit with my kids.

This is an excellent museum for very young kids and for older kids. They offer a lot of different stations on separate levels. It is a fun place to visit

This is a great, hands-on type of museum that is geared towards the 3-8 year old crowd. Many different areas giving young sprouts lots of things to explore, see, and do. Designed so parents can keep an eye on children but yet let them move about and take It all in.

We really enjoyed CMOE. We have a 6 year old and a 13 year old and we all had fun. Beware the wet deck and bring flip flops and maybe even a change of clothes!

Thank D D
