Mesmer Zoo in the rain.

Nice exhibits even in the rain, the animals where our and about! Not a lot of crowds. Beautiful gardens

I needed a break after Mothers Day weekend so mom and I went to the zoo. The carousel is almost done. Its inside a building which is different. There is also a bird Avery or something like that in construction next to the carousel building. The zoo is also in the process of black topping the property a piece at... More

We really enjoyed our trip to this zoo. We usually go to St. Louis but chose Evansville this time. It was a very relaxing and not crowded at all. We hadn't been to this zoo in couple of years. They are really improving! They have acquired new animals and are building new exhibits. It's a small zoo, but worth the... More

It's not the biggest zoo in the world but well maintained and an excellent place to take the kids. They are building a new carousel and have a penguin exhibit scheduled to be built so it's nice to see progressive things happening. It is a little hilly but the paths are shaded. A nice afternoon with the family.

Evansville's zoo is quite nice. A great variety of animals and lots of interesting exhibits. If you find yourself in town for whatever reason, a few hours at this zoo should definitely be a stop.

This is a really great place to go, especially when the weather is warmer. There are so many things to do at this zoo. It's a great family outing place.

Mesker Park Zoo in Evansville. After reading the mostly negative reviews, I was worried about this trip. However, we had a great time! My kids are in a scouting program & the educational class the staff provided was very nice! All the staff throughout the zoo was very friendly and helpful. Pros: up close with the giraffes (you can feed... More

This zoo was pretty good but lots of walking with small children. Be sure to bring strollers but if not, it's only $3 for a rental (they ran out fast). Externally long line to get in and it doesn't seem to move very fast. Must have waited 30 minutes in line. All attractions are good and even add ones like... More

The heat and hills made it hard to stay outside very long and with my Asthma very difficult. My Grandson had a good time.

not at all what I expected. several areas in this park are in need of some cleaning and maintenance. lot of walking just to look at a lot of overgrown grass and weeds. not very many animals, and the ones we did see look to be sick and under fed. the animal areas were all very dirty and unkept. the...
