We took the Western train to dinner and really enjoyed it. The Cowboys providing the on-board and after dinner entertainment were fun. The train cars are nice although they don't "match". On the way to Laurel for dinner, we were stopped by a very large...More

We decided to ride the train as a surprise for our youngest son's 2nd birthday. He is obsessed with trains, so we spent the extra money for the caboose. The whole experience was fantastic! The seating was unique- our 2 elementary age kids rode in...More

Had a wonderful time on the train and enjoyed the time with my wonderful Wife. The civil war reenactment was really cool it makes you appreciate those who lost there life for freedom.

This railroad is a top notch operation. It travels through a scenic river valley. It is a delightful way to spend an afternoon. The station is convenient to highway access in the heart of the town.

After being on train trips all over Colorado I have to say this trip was a disappointment. The Wild West show was fun but track is rough. The bathrooms at the end were gross, disgusting, appallingly gross.

My wife and I took the train ride from Connersville to Metamora and back, with a nice 2 hour layover in Metamora to shop and grab a bite to eat. The grand central station in Connersville where you board, has a nice area that explains...More

I have seen better scenery, but I couldn't pass up a train ride and am glad for it. What I didn't like is that they kept on repeating about the canal boat ride in Metamora, both coming and going, even though the attraction is closed...More

Anyone interested the WVR 2017 schedule and has questions can check it out at (765) 825-2054 or Google their website. I recommend the excursion train if you have a whole day to enjoy the ride and stopover in Metamora.
