This is a unique museum that offers a unique exhibit of art pieces and culture. Fun fact this building on the exterior has no right angles.

Worth visiting, if it is open...not much parking close by...a few spots behind gallery, handicapped accessible, at last visit. Be careful! They love to ticket! You can park in the Union Bldg./hotel lot and walk ...just a few minutes. Collections vary and sometimes, there are...More

This is an amazing museum; the architechture is absolutely spectacular. The visiting exhibit, "A Step in Time Across the Line: Recent Work by Chee Wang Ng" was utterly fascinating. There was a musical concert going on while we were there, and we were able to...More

Beautiful architecture (I.M.Pei), nice cafe/ gift shop, but it's the collections that really shine. Excellent selection of modern art on first floor... great teaching/learning resource. Greek, roman, Egyptian star on the second floor, and the real gem, in my opinion, is the African and pacific...More

Very impressive museum. You can find Monet, Picasso, Pollock. What I found a waste of space was the Chee Wang Ng exhibitions.

The design was done by I.M. Pei, who did the pyramid at the Louvre. Apparently, none of the corners are done at a direct right angle. Please note that this will soon be closed for a few years due to renovation and/or expansion.

I have difficulty exposing my husband to culture. I literally drugg him to this museum, based on the fact that the University was on holiday, and there wouldn't be a problem with parking. He has had to deal with the parking issue before and didn't...More
