About
The Lake is 1.100m long and 410m wide, and it is extremely abundant with fish, especially trout. During the spring and summer, the best way for you to familiarise yourself with this area is to walk down a 3km long walking trail surrounding the Lake. During the winter, the Lake surface freezes over and it is often traversed by deer and hinds.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One week ago I went to lake biograd national park, the view once you get to the uncontaminated lake is very nice, and the air is very clean.
The entrance fee was 4 euros, and the educational footpath around the lake is quite well kept.
There is a decent restaurant at the beginning of the lake, and there are some kind information personnel women at the info booth.
They helped me figure out how to get back to Podgorica, taxi to Mojkovac, and then bus to Podgorica.
Well, that was the only problem. if you don't have a car or a guided tour, there is a drop off point on the side of the main road with 3km to go to the lake, but no clear pick up point on the way back.
Therefore, I got a taxi to Mojkovac and then a bus to Podgorica.
Otherwise, the lake was really a rare sight, picturesque and very clean.

We like nature and this is the right place to visit. You can take a kayak or make a tour around the lake. There is a littel museum that present the local life, birds and plants. Very nice place.

It's a beautiful place but the infrastructure is very neglected. There is a terrace with bar overlooking the lake through the trees, but the young lads attending the place blast loud party music through the boxes, like in an ugly Budva beach bar - I understand that also young guys in the mountains want to have a good time, but it's not appropriate for the nature place, and it scares away every single visitor of the terrace.

Nice lake in the middle of a pretty national park. If you're American or have travelled in the U.S. Don't be thinking of A national park like that... This is more some untouched woodlands and a lake that you can drive to. Is pretty and worth it if you want to do some hiking or just drop in for a few photos. The shortest loop trails are 4km which is likely to take 4 hours or so given the terrain. Bring good walking shoes and wet weather gear as its mountainous and the weather can change quickly. Admission is chargeable, but it's only a few euros. In summary, worth a look if you're in the area... But may not be worth a massive trip if it's out of your way.

I felt calm, happy, energized. I set on different banks around the lake and watched old trees, springs flowing to the lake. listened to birds singing

The lake is beautiful. Easy to go around, with some wooden trails. Take some food with you and have a picnic on the way. Riddles and educational signs. We rent a boat, it was a lovely afternoon.

The lake is the first thing you see after parking your car at Biogradska park. It is beautiful and worth the entrance fee. You should take the circular route around the lake, it's about 3 km of easy and plain walk. Enjoy!
