Well, in Iceland one just has to see this route. We went with Iceland tours. Gilbert, tour guide, knew a lot. Nice to see everything, especially the water 'factory' (extra bonus to see next to the nature miracles the route offers)

Lots to see on this eight hour tour. Thermal plant, waterfalls, tectonic plates, some nice scenery. Pack a lunch or buy at one of the stops. Do this tour.

The waterfall and geyser were interesting but I found the open air parliament area where the tectonic plates are pulling apart really interesting. Again you got the opportunity to walk with your guide to see this area from a view point, which gave you the opportunity to see the whole area

The Golden Circle tour is an ideal way to see the main attractions of Iceland. It includes the Gulfoss waterfall, the geysers and national park. The views on the trip through the snow covered mountains were breathtaking.

This is a must do if you have a limited amount of time in Iceland, such as we did. We were only there for three days and we wanted to get out and see a bit of Iceland. It is a great introduction into the country as you visit the national park, the geysers and Gulfoss (waterfalls). The tour picks... More

I still don't know why they call it The Golden Circle but it was incredible nonetheless. The hotel I stayed at arranged tour to The Golden Circle - a van comes to the hotel and picks you up and picks up others along the way. The tour was through GTI which the hotel recommended because they give you a little... More

This was an incredible experience. We were most impressed by Thingvellir, but together, the whole day was an unforgettable experience. We would definitely spend a lot more time at Thingvellir if we could.

A tour of contrasts National Park with it's ancient history, geological phenomena, the startling geysers, the clever hot water Geothermal system to heat homes and hot water. A very good introduction to the country

I was surprised just how far we travelled on the route, and yet looking at the map we had reached only a small part of Iceland, making me realise just how big the island is. Worthy of a day visit.

This was my favourite excursion in the whole 7 days I was in Iceland. At first I was concerned I would get bored on a full day excursion especially when I was full of a cold, but I really enjoyed everything about it. The tour guide was very informative and we also got some amazing photos and videos.
