Loved this winery and tasted some very very nice wine. Knowledgeable and friendly service and sharing the history of some of the furniture and decor in the dining room area was worth the trip

Has a great range of wines and nice staff to let you taste them. Building has good atmosphere and was open (though otherwise empty) quite late on a Sunday afternoon when we drove through. Big Apple next door for a photo opp:)

In traveling the New England Highway, the old church is a great place for a brief stop to taste and pick up some high quality wines and have a snack and coffee. The staff are friendly and helpful, very time we’ve dropped in. Try their Rabbit Fence Red and treat yourself!

Hi Kevin, Thank you for your wonderful review. We'd love to see you back for the amazing Gourmet Lunch called Nips and Nosh, which is 5 dishes with 10 different wines (per couple). These include all your favourite Heritage Estate Wines. Please use our website for the latest menu. Alternatively we do a regular Degustation Dinner. Next one is 12/12/20. Looking forward to seeing you again.

We went on a Sunday lunch time with the intention of teasing a couple of wines but decided to have a bite to eat. Choose the “Full flight” which was 5 different dishes, then added the wines to go with each dish. Paid a little more but it was outstanding. During the meal we met the wine maker who told us all about the wines and why they had been chosen to go with each dish

Stopped for a bite to eat. The lovely young girl that served us was learning so the good took a long time to come. My quiche was over cooked in the microwave.. but friends had the grazing platter and that was lovely. I would give this place another chance.. nice atmosphere in the old Church

This was the first stop again after 23 years of saying we'd get back to Stanthorpe.
The last time we came through, the road wasn't in the same place and took you past their original site (747 Granite Belt Drive). This there cottage site.
We stopped in here for a quick tasting before going into Stanthorpe to get to our hotel.
They had a selection of 6 whites and 5 reds to chose from. As I like the reds, I tried and bought some Rabbit fence red and some Malbec. Prices for wine are on par with most of the wineries in the area.
It was a nice friendly environment and the lady who was working there was super nice and helpful.
Try it on your way in.

We did our wine tasting at the 100 year old church. What a beautiful old building. Met a lovely lady Lara who served us for our wine for tasting, she was very informative, knew her wines and the history of the winery. Next time as there will be a next time planning to do the wine tasting and dinner up at the old cellar door. What beautiful building and have been told amazing food I will need to check this out. But if you are short on time stopping at the church isn’t a bad option as you can also do lunch.

Our first stop on a three day food and wine girls trip. Excellent wine knowledge by staff in an amazing tasting cum dining room. Just beautiful. Good wines - some from very old vines like the Shiraz Old Vine. Also enjoyed the wild ferment Fiano. James Halliday gives this winery a good review.

This was our first stop on our way into Stanthorpe and we had a lovely (albeit short) wine tasting experience. The lady/owner was very friendly and informative. We walked away with several bottle of various red wines and a fortified wine too. Our favourites being the Tempranillo & Rabbit Fence Red.

Had an amazing experience with their tapas style lunch with wine flight... Three white wines and two red. The food was perfectly matched and absolutely delicious... Heritage Estate is a unique place with history inside their amazing building... Heaps to look at and their award winning reserve chardonnay is a must to try. Who said queensland chardonnay can't match it with the best in other more known wine regions...
