A visit to Stanthorpe always means a piece of apple pie at Sutton’s. We sat under a shady tree outside in the fresh air and the apple and berry crumble was delicious as well. Very crowded when we arrived around lunch time and I felt the staff were run off their feet, so not the friendliest this time. Food is always yummy every visit. …

A nice stop for morning tea. Delicious apple pie (shared a piece because it is expensive). Would have liked to taste the different apple juices so I could decide which one/s to buy. No tasting because of COVID - sounds like an excuse to me as other places had tastings - they just need to work out how to do it. Was a bit disappointed with this. Bought nice apple juice. Other products for sale. One glass window to see someone making apple pie which was interesting. Nice grounds. Labelled trees in the backyard to see the different types - this was interesting. Could have been more - tell us the story of your business, we would love to have learnt a little more while we were there....like how many apples does it take to make a pie or juice or something.
