The weather was nice the day we visited the gardens. The outdoor lake and gardens were beautiful. My grandson fed the ducks and coi fish. The Conservatory was a little on the smaller side but that did not detract from the incredible flowers in bloom....More

Beautiful! Highly recommend. A wonderful place to spend an afternoon. It would be really nice to go there in the winter for a tropical escape from the dreary winter.

I grew up in Rockford but this was new to our most recent visit. Our whole family went - grandfather, children and grandchildren. Beautiful place. They were displaying the Corpse Flower when we were there. Gorgeous gardens along the Rock River. Highly recommend.

Big green house full of special plants. The grounds and fish pond have been redone since the opening of the new greenhouse a few years ago. Special events at times, like butterflies or special birds. Makes a great background for photos.

Hi pitpat3, I think this review may be for the Discovery Center? (we aren't connected to the Burpee Museum)
