We drove through on Memorial Day weekend. They were only allowing persons to see the cemetery without a pass, so we had to go to the visitor's center and register before a pass was granted to us to see the other parts of the arsenal....More

I visited the national cemetery. If you are looking for a relative, go to the website Find a Grave first. Then, go to the Rock Island Cemetery website to get the plot map. It is very well maintained.
